1. what terpline is
Terpline is an independent, early-stage (alpha/beta) web application that lets you control certain Focus V dab rigs over Bluetooth, and save your own presets, LED settings, screensaver images, and temperature ramps to your account. It's built and maintained by an individual developer, not a company, and is provided free of charge. Terpline is not made, operated, endorsed by, or affiliated with Focus V in any way — Focus V and any related product names are trademarks of their respective owner, referenced here only to describe compatibility.
2. alpha/beta software — use at your own risk
Terpline is early-stage software under active development. Features can change, break, or be removed without notice. It's provided with no formal support commitment, no uptime guarantee, and no warranty of any kind — you use it at your own risk, and should not rely on it for anything where an outage, bug, or data loss would be unacceptable.
3. your account
You need an account to use Terpline. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up.
4. your hardware, your responsibility
Terpline sends commands to a physical heating device that you own and control directly. You are solely responsible for using that device safely, for supervising its operation, and for complying with any laws that apply to you regarding its use. Terpline is a control interface — it does not manufacture, inspect, or guarantee the condition of your hardware, and assumes no responsibility for injury, property damage, or device malfunction arising from its use.
5. legal use only
Terpline itself is a general-purpose account and device-control service; using it at all requires you to be capable of forming a binding agreement under the law that applies to you. Separately, and specific to what this service is used for: you must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to possess and use cannabis accessories, and are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
6. your saved content
Presets, LED configurations, screensaver images, and ramp profiles you save through Terpline remain yours. We store them so your account can retrieve and use them — nothing you save is shared with other users or used for any purpose beyond providing the service to you. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload (for example, screensaver images) — don't upload content you don't have the right to use, and we may remove content that infringes someone else's rights.
7. acceptable use
Don't use Terpline to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system, or to interfere with other users' access to the service.
8. no warranty
Terpline is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Bluetooth connectivity, device behavior, and protocol details are outside our control and can change or behave unexpectedly. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or firmware version, and we may modify or discontinue any part of it at any time.
9. limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Terpline and its operator assume no liability for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or your hardware, including but not limited to device damage, injury, or data loss — and, given its current free, alpha/beta status, total liability for any claim is limited to zero.
10. indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Terpline and its operator from any claim or demand arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party's rights.
11. termination
You can stop using Terpline at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
12. changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continuing to use Terpline after an update means you accept the revised terms.
13. general
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Terpline, and replace any earlier versions. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the project; not enforcing a provision on one occasion doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.
